Description: AutoUpLinkUSA franchises offer software applications, products and services to automobile dealers which allow the dealers to collect data on their automobiles, manage their inventory and provide comprehensive vehicle descriptions for their online vehicle listings.
Franchise Offer: There are two types of franchise offers;
i) New franchise: A new franchise business features data acquisition and inventory management services and products which are provided to automobile dealers.
ii) Conversion franchise: Franchises to qualified individuals who have an existing auto dealer inventory management business and have previously used the AutoUpLinkUSA technology.
Financial Assistance: The franchisor will lease to a franchisee a handheld monitor. Except for the equipment lease, the franchisor does not offer direct or indirect financing. The franchisor does not guarantee loans, lease, or other obligations.
Training and Assistance: The training program is for approximately one week and will generally be held in Charlotte, North Carolina or Shoreview, Minnesota. The franchisor will provide training at no cost for up to two people. Training must be completed before the commencement of the AutoUpLinkUSA Business. The franchisee must pay for the salaries, fringe benefits, travel costs and expenses, and related costs for all persons associated with the franchisee who attend the training program.
Territory: The franchisee has the right to operate AutoUpLinkUSA Business in a defined geographic area ("Territory"). The franchisor will not operate or grant another franchisee the right to operate an AutoUpLinkUSA Business within the Territory. Generally, a Territory will consist of an area having a population of at least 500,000.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The term of the franchise agreement is 4 years. Renewal or extension of the term is for up to two 4 year terms. Requirements to renew or extend are; the franchisee must be in compliance with the Franchise Agreement, be current with all monetary obligations, have met minimum performance/market penetration standards and sign our then-current form of Franchise Agreement.
Obligations and Restrictions: Business must at all times be under the direct supervision of the franchisee. Principal owners must be those persons who are actively involved in the Business. In either instance, the individual who will directly supervise and manage the operation of the Business must complete the training program. The franchisee shall offer and sell only those services that franchisor has approved. The franchisee shall only use marketing and promotional materials that the franchisor has approved.
