Description: Total Car offers franchises for on-site, mobile or fixed-site vehicle restoration, including vehicle exterior paint repair and refinishing, paintless dent removal, and interior repair.
Franchise Offer: Total Car offers two types of franchises;
i) Core Services: Establish and operate a business that provides on-site, mobile or fixed-site vehicle restoration, including vehicle exterior paint repair and refinishing, paintless dent removal, and interior repair under Total Car's Marks.
ii) Authorized Services: Franchised businesses may also perform other authorized restoration and improvement services under TCFC's Marks, such as other product restoration for planes, coffins, boats and restaurant upholstery and glass repair.
Financial Assistance: Total Car may assist in the procurement of third-party financing, but is not obligated to do so. Total Car does not guaranty any note, lease or other obligation. The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved Total Car's application to be listed on the Franchise Registry as of July 3, 2006. This listing ensures expedited loan processing for franchisees and prospective franchisees obtaining Small Business Administration financing.
Training and Assistance: Training comprises of 190 hours of classroom training and is held at the offices in Conway, South Carolina. The franchisee must attend and successfully complete the training program.
Territory: The franchisee is granted a non-exclusive right to operate a franchise within a defined territory. A Territory is typically delineated by the boundaries of a Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area or specific county which includes a specified population.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The term of the franchise agreement is 10 years. Renewal or extension of the term is for one additional 5 year term, if the franchisee has complied with the Operator Franchise Agreement and meets other conditions.
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchisee must personally operate and supervise the franchised business, and devote full time and best efforts to operating and supervising such operations, unless franchisee has a fully trained full-time employee designated for that purpose who has been approved and authorized by Total Car.
