Franchises Celebrate Veterans Day

Veterans Day honors the men and women that have bravely served our country past and present. After coming home, veterans often continue to lead and leverage their learned skills through franchising and play an integral role in the franchising sector. To mark this special holiday, let’s take a look at how franchises are celebrating in this edition of Friday Franchising News!

Pet Supplies Plus Unites Veterans and New Best Friends

The pet retail franchise has announced a partnership with Natural Balance Pet Foods to donate up to $50,000 for Pets for Vets during their Veterans Day event. The donations will go directly to the Pets for Vets organization, whose mission is to pair the thousands of U.S. soldiers suffering from PTSD who are not eligible for a service dog with thousands of shelter cats and dogs.
