McDonald’s Breakfast Gives Boost
We recently covered the newly expanded menu of McDonald’s breakfast. The numbers are in and breakfast is boss. The McDonald’s Corporation reported a 35% increase in profits in the quarter ending March 31. This unexpectedly large gain is credited to the decision last fall to sell certain breakfast items all day. After a slump, this marks the third consecutive quarter of positive results for the company. Sales in stores open at least a year gre 6.2% across the country, surpassing Wall Street Expectations. McDonald’s plans to keep this momentum up, with objectives focused on local market insights and a decision to source cage-free eggs.
