Little Caesars New HQ Set for Summer
Little Caesars has rolled out plans to the update the design of a new world headquarters this summer. The new building will be located on the company’s campus in Detroit and will feature a nine story, 234,000 square-foot structure with a unique facade composed of glass sections shaped like pizza slices to honor its signature product. The downtown headquarters will be more than double the size of Little Caesars’ current campus and will capture the company’s innovative spirit and complement the iconic architecture found in the surrounding area.
Red Robin Debuts “Summer of Yummm” Menu
Red Robin’s limited time menu is giving guests a chance to fall in love with the MadLove Burger and other specialty items. Available through August 21, the award-winning burger features a half-pound Black Angus beef patty with melted provolone and Swiss cheeses, a cheddar and parmesan cheese crisp, jalapeno relish, candied bacon, avocado slices and a blend of citrus-marinated tomatoes and onions. To pair with the burger, new seasonal appetizers and desserts are being introduced. For adults, the the Jala-Piña Rita is bringing the heat, along with Barely-Battered Broccoli and NachO.M.G. appetizers and to end on a sweet note, a line of Finest Milkshakes, featuring the Bonfire S'mores and Cup Cake Milkshake.
Papa John’s Kicks Off Summer With Top Awards
Papa John’s continues to maintain its position as a top pizza chain and quick-service restaurant franchise. According to the 2016 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) released this week, Papa John’s ranked first among QSR-pizza brands in customer satisfaction and product quality. This year’s recognition marks the 15th time out of the previous 17 years that the Louisville-based pizza chain led the pizza industry in accolades for customer satisfaction. Additionally, Papa John’s improved its overall ACSI score from last year, rising four points.
Burger King Goes Dangerously Cheesy With Mac ‘n Cheetos
Burger King continues to have a taste for adventure with their fare. The latest creation is the Mac ‘n Cheetos, deep-fried sticks of macaroni and cheese encrusted in Cheetos-flavored breading. Mac ‘n Cheetos follow the trend of blending fast food with well-known snack brands. The cheesy fusion snack will be sold for about eight weeks or until supplies run out, retailing at $2.49 for a five pack. This product is the result of a partnership with PepsiCo Inc.’s Frito-Lay, the snack empire that owns Cheetos, Doritos, Ruffles and other chips. The move mimics the strategy of Yum! Brands Inc.’s Taco Bell, which introduced Doritos Locos Tacos. Snackers can indulge starting June 27.
Dunkin’ Donuts Runs Wild This Summer
This summer, Dunkin’ Donuts is offering up a cool, new fruit smoothie flavor, Wildberry. The smoothie will be offered throughout the season and is freshly prepared with creamy low-fat yogurt, blended with real strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and blackberry. As summer heat rises, Dunkin’ Donuts has other cool ways to escape escalating temps, including several seasonal Coolatta frozen beverages. The brand’s frozen fun includes its newest Coolatta flavor, Sour Apple, along with summer favorites Blue Raspberry and Watermelon varieties. Additionally, summer iced coffee fans can enjoy new Heath and Almond Joy flavored caffeine fare.
Bennigan’s Brings “Summer Shenanigans” Menu
Starting this week, Bennigan’s is rolling out a limited-time summer menu featuring an array of chef-driven food and innovative cocktails fit for a Legendary 40th Anniversary celebration. The new “Summer Shenanigans” menu includes several hearty entrées, including Oh, Baby Back Ribs with multiple combo options and three bold new flavors of wings including: Sweet Honey BBQ, Garlic Parmesan and Brown Sugar Sticky Sauce. Finally, adult guests can enjoy a summertime selection of handcrafted mixed drinks. Escape the summer heat with Bennigan’s Green Tea, Ruby Ginger Fizz and Cucumber Citrus Mash. The summer menu items will be available until July 31.
