Now we prepare to come together at the dining table and enjoy watching our favorite characters in larger than life Thanksgiving Day parade floats. A tradition that unites all for Thanksgiving reminds us to take a step back and enjoy the view. Take a look at how some of our favorite franchises are making big impressions this year!
McDonald’s Kicks Off Holidays in Chicago Thanksgiving Parade
This year marks the return of the 80th annual McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade. WGN America will televise the November 24 occasion, featuring the nation's best marching bands, giant popular inflatable balloons, spectacular performance acts and much more! The McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade is more than just a collection of balloons, bands and floats marching up State Street. It symbolizes a tradition of family celebration that is passed down from generation to generation. Of course, no parade is complete without Ronald who will once again lead off the traditional forward-motion portion, riding in his giant red shoe.
Homewood Suites Rolls On in Macy’s Parade
Homewood Suites has announced that the lodging franchise’s iconic Lewis the Duck float is returning! Based on the wonder of wooden pull toys, the On The Roll Again float features a colorful family of ducks in parade. The father duck, Lewis, is wearing his most dapper hat and carrying a backpack. The Homewood Suites by Hilton mascot takes the lead on this family getaway and pulls his family down the marching line.
