Hard Rock International in Malaysia
Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast is opening fall 2017 in Malaysia. The 365-room hotel is slated to be part of a highly anticipated destination resort featuring entertainment, restaurants, shopping, a water park and a 45-hole golf course. Malaysia is one of the leading tourist destinations in Asia, known for its beaches, rain forests, and rich culture. The project is in collaboration with Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels Sdn Bhdm and it is expected to bring a unique flavor and brand experience to attract both locals and tourists alike. Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast will have an array of unmatched offerings and amenities, including a sparking pool and poolside bar and grill; an all-day dining restaurant; a full-service Rock Spa; and The Sound of your Stay music amenity program, giving guests first hand interactive musical experiences and in-room jam sessions.
Ziebart International in Thailand
Automotive franchise Ziebart International has opened its first master licensed location in Bangkok, Thailand. The location is an 8,000 square foot stand-alone building that offers appearance protection, detailing, films and rust protection services. Impressed by Ziebart's current operations that are thriving in Korea, the Kratos Autowork Co., Ltd. Signed on as a master Ziebart franchisee for Thailand. Thailand was the perfect location for Ziebart's Southeast Asia expansion because of its growing automotive industry and the plethora of opportunities in the market. A second location will open later in the year near Pattaya and others are planned for early 2017.
Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Montenegro
Hilton Hotels & Resorts made its debut in Montenegro with the new Hilton Podgorica Crna Gora. Conveniently situated at in the city centre, the 180-room hotel is close to all public and commercial facilities and is perfect for both business and leisure guests. Montenegro is one of the oldest European states and is often referred to as the pearl of the Mediterranean. UFC Gym in the Philippines
UFC Gym has embarked on a 10-year partnership with the Fitspiration Philippines Corporation to open 30 locations throughout The Republic of the Philippines, with the first franchise scheduled to open in early 2017 in Manilla. The unique fitness franchise will bring a family-friendly lineup of MMA-inspired programs to Filipino fight fans and breathe new life into Filipino fitness regimens. Asia is one of the UFC's fastest growing markets, and Filipino fight fans are passionate about the sport, making UFC Gym the perfect fit for expansion into the Philippines.
Hyatt Hotels in Cambodia
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced its partnership with Chip Mong Group to build a Hyatt Regency hotel in Cambodia's capital city, Phnom Penh. The Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh is expected to open in 2020 and will be the first Hyatt Regency hotel in Cambodia. For travelers coming to the city for its art, culture and business, the 250-room hotel will offer authentic food and beverages, venue and conference space, a fitness center, a spa and a rooftop pool and bar with views of the Royal Palace and the Mekong and Tonlé Sap Rivers. The Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh will be located directly across from the city's popular tourist attractions, including the National Museum and the Royal Palace, as well as being near plenty of cafes, restaurants and art galleries in the area.
Senior Helpers in Canada
Senior Helpers recently opened its first franchise in Canada. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in Pacific Asia
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide are bringing seven new Tribute Portfolio hotels into the mix, five in the US and two in Pacific Asia. The Tribute Portfolio brand is experiencing tremendous growth and is now looking to gain momentum in Pacific Asia by adding a Singapore and a Bali location. Hôtel Vagabond is a boutique property located in the hip-and-upcoming enclave of Jalan Besar outside of Singapore's central business district. The 41-room hotel is the only hotel in Asia with interiors by celebrated French designer Jacques Garcia, making it a unique addition. The hotel will convert in November of this year and will host the Artist in Residence Program where guests will be able to mingle with resident artists. Sthala Ubud Bali is set to open in October and will be the brand's second hotel in Indonesia. The new build will be located in the Ubud area of Bali and will feature 145 rooms, a spa, two restaurants, two swimming pools, a rooftop bar and a ballroom.
