Following up on the IFA Annual Conference this week, highlights from the week so far include two events which the Franchise Direct team was delighted to be part of: the Taste of Franchising networking experience on Sunday and the opportunity to begin interviewing franchisors and industry experts on Monday. To share snippets of both events with our users, photos have been captured below.
So what was the Taste of Franchising event all about? Franchise industry professionals were brought together and IFA franchisor members generously sponsored the event from food to decor. This led to a delicious and relaxing ambiance, sharing some of the different flavors available through the diverse world of food franchising, as well as entertainment and decoration sectors of franchising. Menchie’s was the Title Sponsor of the event, practically bringing an actual Menchie’s location fit with the brand’s imaging and set-up to the MGM Grand which allowed guests to enjoy a frozen yogurt experience while connecting with other industry professionals.
In addition to this event well spent sampling some of the tastiest aspects of franchising, the Franchise Direct team set out to start interviews Monday to highlight some of most recent industry shifts and trends. Interviewees shared details surrounding specific services offered by franchisors through training and support for franchise partners with us, which we will soon make available for our users via video posts on our site.
Along with training provided by many franchisors, participation in programs such as VetFran is increasing and information for veterans and their family members is available online here. Through attending this 53rd IFA convention, Franchise Direct is able to share with our users some of the latest industry news that makes franchising an ever progressive industry to move into for professionals from a variety of backgrounds.
