With more and more people turning to franchising to regain control of their financial future, it would be pretty helpful to have some kind of simple video or text that explains the whole industry in a clear and simple manner.
Of course, the Franchise Direct information center is a great resource and will answer all of your questions. But if you’re short on time, we’d like to point you to this new video produced by the franchise group of law firm Stark & Stark and inspired by CommonCraft, which explains franchising in less than five minutes.

The video was premiered at the 2009 Franchise & Financing Expo in Boston last weekend, and franchising has never seemed easier. Maybe the narration is a little too brisk, but all in all, we really enjoyed its quirky, folksy take on how to get started in franchising.
