TeachPro Franchise Costs & Fees
Date Incorporation: 2011
Franchising Since: 2012
Headquarters: Edmond, Oklahoma
Business Description: TeachPro Inc., the franchisor, authorizes its franchisees to promote, advertise, and sell quality tutoring and educational services and curricula to the public and to use its method of operation and its service marks in the operations of the franchisee's business through mobile and onsite services. TeachPro offers various education-related products, educational courses, advancement processes and student materials that will assist in the enhancement of education for students in grades Pre-Kindergarten to 12.
Franchise Offer: TeachPro franchisees tutor reading and math for students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12. There are two primary channels of distribution, which are part of the tutoring program:
- In-School Programs
- No Child Left Behind - such as Title I Programs (Improving the Academic Achievements of the Disadvantaged)
- Other Government Programs - such as Title IV Programs (21st Century CCLC Schools)
- In-Home Tutoring
- In-Home Tutoring where parents pay to have their children tutored
Financial Assistance: TeachPro does not provide direct or indirect financing and do not assist in providing financing for franchisees. TeachPro does not guarantee any notes or financial obligations the franchisee may incur in setting up and operating the franchise.
Training and Assistance: TeachPro will give franchisees an approximately two-day training and familiarization program before the start of the business at its headquarters, currently in Edmond, Oklahoma, or at one of its company-owned locations, or at another location that it designates. The training program consists of training materials, enrollment programs, selling aids, and professional consultation. Training will cover the Method of Operation and related curricula, programs, office management and relationships with students. TeachPro may, at its discretion or upon the franchisee’s request, provide other supervision, assistance, and services before the opening of the business; such as literature, advertising materials, displays, flyers, additional training assistance and a selection of curricula and supplies. TeachPro may provide refresher training programs or seminars and may require that franchisees or their managers attend and complete them to its satisfaction. In addition to the franchise training programs TeachPro may hold conventions for the franchisees that make up our franchise system.
Territory: The franchisee will be given a specific territory within which he/she will operate the In-Home franchised business. A typical In-Home franchise territory consists of approximately 50,000 to 200,000 persons of population. So long as the Franchise Agreement is in force, and the franchisee is not in default in any material provision of the Agreement, TeachPro will not establish or allow others to establish a TeachPro In-Home tutoring business within the Franchise Territory. However, In-School franchise operations can operate at any location approved by TeachPro, whether or not within the In-Home franchise territory of any franchisee. TeachPro does not grant an exclusive territory for any In-School franchise operation.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the initial franchise term is five years. If the franchisee is in good standing, he/she may renew for periods of five years under the terms of our then current franchise agreement forms.
Obligations and Restrictions: TeachPro recommends that the franchisee (or one of his/her owners if the franchisee is a corporation or partnership), participate fully in the actual day-to-day operation of the franchise business. However, the franchisee may designate a Manager to assume responsibility for day-to-day operations. TeachPro requires that franchisees use, offer and sell only those products and services that it approves in writing. Franchisees must offer all products and services that TeachPro designates as required by franchisees.
