Franchise Offer: The franchise on offer is to own and operate a Vieta Coffee Business which offers for sale gourmet coffee, teas and hot chocolate and a variety of other beverages, fresh baked goods, dessert items and fresh, made-to-order sandwiches. The initial franchise fee is $30,000 and the franchise typically requires approximately 250 to 1,500 square feet of space and is located in an office atrium, strip mall or a similar location that is heavily traveled.
Financial Assistance: Vieta Coffee Franchise Enterprise does not provide any financial assistance nor do they guarantee any note, lease or obligation.
Training and Assistance: The franchisor offers an initial training program which covers material aspects of the operations of the franchised business. The training consists of both classroom and on site training. The managers, and/or employees will attend refresher-training programs or seminars to be conducted at the headquarters or another location the franchisor designate. The franchisor will not charge the franchisee for attending ongoing training programs, but they must pay for their own and their employees' travel and accommodations.
Territory: The franchisee will receive an exclusive territory. Vieta Coffee Franchise Enterprise will not establish any other Vieta Coffee businesses or any substantially similar franchised or company-owned businesses in the protected territory. The franchisor must approve the location of the franchise.
Renewal and Termination: The term of the franchise is for 5 years with an option to renew for 3 additional terms of 5 years if certain conditions are met. Neither the franchisee nor the franchisor can terminate without cause.
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchised business must always be under the direct full-time supervision of a designated manager, which is the franchisee if they are an individual, or is an individual that is selected if the franchisee is a business entity. The franchisee must offer the products and services that Vieta Coffee Franchise Enterprise specifies. The franchisee may not sell any products or services that have not been authorized. Vieta Coffee Franchise Enterprise will provide on-site assistance and guidance for approximately 10 days before and during the opening of the franchised business, subject (as to timing) to the availability of their personnel.
