Franchise Offer: The franchise offered is for a license to operate a restaurant or restaurants specializing in pizza and other specialty food items.
Financial Assistance: The franchisor does not offer financing arrangements to franchisees or arrange financing from other sources.
Training and Assistance: The classroom training is provided by the franchisor, at the franchisee's request. The duration of the classroom training is one day. All classroom training takes place at the franchisor's headquarters in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
The franchisor will provide assistance and on-the-job training to the franchisee in opening and operating the restaurant. This training consists of demonstrating all aspects of the operation of the restaurant and such other assistance and training to ensure the smooth opening and initial operation of the restaurant. Typically one or more of the franchisor's representatives provide on-site training for a period of 10 days. This may be followed up by another 4-5 days of on-site training within the first 6-8 weeks after opening. The franchisor will also provide access to additional training. At present, attendance at additional training is optional.
Territory: The franchisee will receive an exclusive territory. However the franchisee does not receive the right to acquire additional franchises within the territory.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The term of the franchise agreement is 10 years and can be renewed for another 10 years if the franchisee is in good standing.
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchisee, or a qualified manager hired by the franchisee, must conduct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. The franchisee must, even if a manager is hired for the restaurant, thoroughly familiarize themselves with the standards and methods of operating the restaurant, and they must complete the mandatory training program. The franchisee must offer all menu items and services designated by the franchisor as required for all franchisees. The franchisee may not offer for sale any product or services that have not been approved.
