Description: DoodyCalls provides exterior pet waste removal service and disinfecting odor removal services for residential yards, apartment complexes, commercial properties, and home owner associations, and other pet-related services.

Franchise Offer: The franchise offered is the right to establish and operate a DoodyCalls business that provides exterior pet waste removal service, disinfecting, odor removal service and general dog park planning. DoodyCalls franchisees will use and offer for sale to customers proprietary and logoed pet-related products, including logoed litter bags and pet waste stations.
Financial Assistance: No direct financial assistance is offered.

Training and Assistance: The franchisee must designate a manager for the franchised business and he or she must satisfactorily complete the initial training approximately 8 weeks before the opening of the franchised business. One assistant may also attend at the franchisee’s option. The franchisee must pay for all travel costs and living expenses for themselves and any of their attendees, the franchisor will bear the cost of all training. The training consists of 34 hours classroom training and 4 hours on-the-job training.

Territory: The territory will be contained in the franchise agreement and will be identified by zip code. In determining the size of a territory (and the number of zip codes in a territory), many factors are considered by the franchisor, including the estimated number of households that have yards and dogs; prevalence of home owner's associations, pet friendly apartment communities; and median income of residents. Generally, a territory will have at least 100,000 households.

During the term of the franchise agreement, DoodyCalls will not operate (nor will they license any other persons to operate) a franchise within the territory except as may be permitted under the franchise agreement. The territory may not be altered before the expiration or termination of the franchise agreement.

Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the franchise term is 10 years, with an option to renew up to two additional 10 year terms.

Obligations and Restrictions: The franchised business must always be under the direct, full-time, day-to-day supervision of a designated manager. If the franchisee is an individual, the franchisor may require that the franchisee be the designated manager of the franchise. The franchisee may not sell any products or services that have not been authorized and they must discontinue offering any products or services that the franchisor may disapprove.
