Description: The franchisee operates a Casa Mia restaurant for the on-premises and carry-out consumption of Italian foods using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Casa Mia features special recipe Italian food products, many of which utilize secret seasoning mixes and spice pack mixes as well as other food products.
Franchise Offer: The franchisee will operate a restaurant offering a full lunch and dinner menu featuring pizza, pasta, salads and other Italian dishes made using special recipes and processes, for on-premises and carry-out consumption.
Financial Assistance: Managers of affiliate-owned Casa Mia restaurants with 3 years experience in a managerial or equivalent position at Casa Mia restaurants who meet the standards and qualifications will pay a franchise fee of $18,000 at a rate of $500 per month for 36 months. Except as stated above, the franchisor does not offer, either directly or indirectly, any financing arrangements.
Training and Assistance: The franchisor will provide the franchisee and a designated manager and up to 1 additional employee with a mandatory initial training and familiarization course of 18 business days in duration. Training occurs at Casa Mia headquarters in Olympia, Washington.
Territory: The franchisee is granted an exclusive territory. The designated area will include a population base of approximately 50,000 and proximity to other Casa Mia restaurants no closer than approximately 5 miles unless in a densely populated area, readily definable market, or area with a natural boundary.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the franchise term is 10 years, with an option for renew for an additional 10 years.
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchisee or manager must devote full time, energy and best efforts to the management and operation of the restaurant. The restaurant is to be at all times under the franchisee’s direct on-premises supervision, or a trained and competent employee acting as manager.
