Description: A traditional Dagwood's sandwich shoppe business specializes in the sale of sandwiches, salads, subs, soups, fountain and packaged beverages, desserts and salty snacks/chips, and other items.
Franchise Offer: For the past 75 years, Dagwood Bumstead from the Blondie comic strip has been well-known for his love of sandwiches --so much so that the name "Dagwood" is virtually synonymous with sandwiches and it is included in Webster's Dictionary as a reference to sandwiches. Dagwood"s Sandwich Shoppes thus has an inherent appeal and association with sandwiches for many consumers. The shoppes are designed to have the fun, entertaining and universal appeal of the comic strip and, like the strip, the shoppes offer customers a wholesome atmosphere where they can experience a truly American icon.
A Shoppe will be operated in a building that bears the franchisor's trade dress (interior, exterior, or both). Term of Agreement and Renewal: The term of the franchise agreement is 15 years that can be renewed once for a five-year term.
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchise agreement requires that the franchisee or their operating partner devote full time, energy, and best efforts to the management of the shoppe.
