Description: The Winger's franchise system operates family-based, value dining in a casual-themed restaurant. Winger's restaurants will feature an extensive variety of appetizers and grilled entree items, including Winger's Signature Original Wings, chicken, ribs, gourmet hamburgers and sandwiches, salads, desserts and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialty drinks.
Franchise Offer: Winger's grants franchises to qualified candidates for the operation of 1 or more Winger's restaurants. They also offer development agreements to multi-unit developers to open multiple restaurants.
Financial Assistance: Winger's does not offer direct or indirect financing.
Training and Assistance: The franchisee and three managers of the franchised business must complete Winger's initial training program before the opening of the restaurant. Initial training is conducted at Winger's headquarters and/or a company-owned location in Salt Lake City, Utah, at a regional site selected by Winger's, or at the location of the franchised business and will last a minimum of 32 days.
Territory: The franchisee will be granted an exclusive territory. Winger's will not establish its own or other franchisees within a 2 mile radius of the franchise location.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the franchise term is15 years, with an option for renew for one additional 15 year term.
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchisee is not required to be directly involved in the day-to-day business operations of the units, but the restaurant must be under the direct, on-premises supervision of at least one of the 3 managers who have completed the Winger's training program.
