Description: The franchise offered is a Captain Tony's Pizza & Pasta Emporium restaurant which offers full service dine-in service and/or take-out and delivery services.  The menu features pizza in 4 different sizes, prepared with mozzarella cheese and a choice of 24 other toppings. The restaurant offers related limited menu food items, such as pasta dishes, calzones, sandwiches and any and all other food items as Captain Tony’s deems appropriate.

Franchise Offer: Captain Tony's franchises the right to operate a restaurant under the name Captain Tony's Pizza & Pasta Emporium. Captain Tony's Pizza & Pasta Emporium restaurants sell and deliver pizza and related limited menu food items.

Captain Tony's offers three types of franchises:

  • A take-out and delivery service unit; 
  • Self-serve sit down with take-out and delivery service; 
  • Full service restaurant with take-out and delivery service.

Financial Assistance: Neither Captain Tony's nor any agent nor affiliate offers direct or indirect financing to the franchisee.

Training and Assistance: The franchisee and one employee of their will be trained at Captain Tony’s training center, in Rochester, NY. The initial training consists of approximately 168 hours of total field training in various subject areas.

After opening, Captain Tony's provides telephone and on-line assistance via e-mail to the franchisee to discuss operational problems, as well as personal advisory assistance at the franchisee's location.

Territory: The franchisee does not receive an exclusive territory.

Term of Agreement and Renewal: The term of the franchise agreement is 20 years. It can be renewed for 2 consecutive 5-year terms, if the franchisee is in good standing.

Obligations and Restrictions: Although recommended, the franchisee does not need to personally supervise the franchised business. The franchisee may hire a manager who has successfully completed Captain Tony's training program. This manager must directly supervise the business at the premises. The franchisee must serve the menu items specified by Captain Tony's. The franchisee must not sell any other food, drink or merchandise without prior written approval of Captain Tony's.
