Franchise Offer: Digicom Specialties Franchise Company, LLC offers individual franchises to provide Digicom Specialties mobile ultrasound services which includes skilled technicians and state-of-the-art equipment required to perform diagnostic cardiological and vascular ultrasound testing, reporting, and interpretation.
Financial Assistance: The franchisor does not offer direct company financing for the Initial Franchise Fee, Development Fee or for the initial equipment or supplies that the franchisee must purchase. However, the franchisor does refer the franchisee to potential sources of financing for either of the above. The franchisor does not guarantee any note, lease or obligation.
Training and Assistance: The mandatory initial training encompasses sales, marketing and business management, as well as the systems and procedures for operating the business and must be completed to the franchisor’s satisfaction by the franchisee and their staff. The franchisor will also provide five days of additional on-site training, at their expense, which the franchisee must attend.
Territory: The franchise agreement grants the right to operate a Digicom Specialties Business only within the protected territory. The protected territory is a specific mutually agreeable marketing area that contains no less than 200 independent doctors in the following specialties: general or family practitioner, internal medicine, neurologist, vascular surgeon, nephrologists, podiatrist. During the term of the franchise agreement, the franchisor will not establish or operate, nor license any other person or entity to establish or operate a business within the protected territory or to solicit customers inside the franchisee’s protected territory.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The term of the franchise agreement is 10 years with an option to renew the term for one consecutive term provided the franchisee has met the conditions described in the franchise agreement. The fee for renewal is $5,000.
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchisee must personally supervise the day-to-day operations of the business. If the franchisee does not personally supervise day-to-day operations, they must designate a full-time manager to engage in such supervision. The franchisee may only offer Digicom Specialties services in the protected territory and only those that are authorized by the franchisor and conform to their standards and specifications.
