Description: Reliant Franchising, Inc. is a North Carolina Corporation. The franchisor is offering a franchise license for the operation of a business that will provide non-medical, in-home care to the community under the name "Reliant Home Care."


Franchise Offer: Reliant Franchising, Inc. is engaged in the business of selling franchises and supporting franchisees in the service of non-medical in-home care. Reliant Home Care franchisees will provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and others who need assistance with the daily activities of living. This assistance comes in the form of personal care, companionship or home maintenance. Reliant Home Care employs care givers who work in the homes of our clients on a scheduled hourly basis. Additionally, Reliant Home Care provides temporary staffing of Certified Nursing Assistants to retirement communities, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing homes

Financial Assistance: The franchisor does not offer financing or guarantees of any other costs or leases associated with opening or operating the franchise.

Training and Assistance: The franchisor will provide training which is available only to Franchisees and General Managers. The training is based on our various Manuals. In addition, the franchisor will spend one day with the franchisee in the market providing sales and marketing training.

Territory: The franchisor will grant an exclusive Protected Territory with up to 200,000 residents. The territory will be defined by county boundaries, geographic or highway boundaries, or ZIP codes as established by the US Postal Service.

Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the franchise term is 10 years, with the option to renew for additional 10 year terms. The fee for renewal is 10% of the then current franchise fee.

Obligations and Restrictions: While it is not required that the franchisee personally supervise the business, the franchise must be directly supervised, on a day to day basis, by a manager who has successfully completed the training program. The franchisee is required to offer and sell all the approved core services under the brand name. The franchisee may only utilize approved products.

Ongoing Fees:

Royalty

6% of the first $200,000 total gross receipts of the business annually;


5% of the next $200,000 ($200,001-400,000);


4% of all annual Total Gross Receipts in excess of $400,000.


Beginning in the thirteenth month after opening, a minimum monthly Royalty of $500 will be due.

Advertising Fees Up to 2% of Total Gross Receipts
Local Advertising In addition to the National Advertising Fund, franchisee must spend at least an additional 3% of monthly Total Gross Receipts on local advertising.
Additional Franchise Management Training $750 per person is the current charge for the training of employees in excess of the two provided for in the initial franchise fee.
Transfer If franchisee sells the franchise to someone else, 25% of the Initial Franchise Fee being charged new franchisees at the time of the transfer will be due.
Renewal Fee 10% of the Initial Franchise Fee being charged new franchisees at the time of the renewal will be due when renewing the Franchise License at the end of its 10-year term,
Audit If the franchisor audits the books and an underpayment of 3% or more is discovered, in addition to any under payment, franchisee must pay the cost of the audit plus 18% annual interest and 15% of the underpaid royalty.
