Deciding to invest in a franchise opportunity is a big decision and not one to be taken lightly. A lot of research should be carried out, and it’s conceivable that every prospective franchisee will have a different way of evaluating their ideal franchise opportunity. This section explores the resources the respondents have turned to for information as well as how much outside counsel they have decided, or intend, to seek.

Prospective Franchisee Survey - How many franchises have, or will, you solicited information from before deciding? 31.1% of participant intended to get information from between five to 10 franchises

Prospective Franchisee Survey - Where do you go to research information on possible franchises? 74.6% of participants consult franchise directories.
