PADGETT BUSINESS SERVICES® RANKS AS A TOP 200 FRANCHISE IN FRANCHISE MARKET MAGAZINE
Ranking based on growth and franchise stability.
May 17, 2008
ATHENS, Ga. – Padgett Business Services® has been ranked as part of the Top 200 Franchises in the spring issue of Franchise Market Magazine.
Endorsed by ASBDC (Association of Small Business Development Centers) and SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business”, Franchise Market Magazine is designed as a resource to entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The information for the ranking was compiled via surveys and third-party resources. The franchises listed were evaluated based on four elements: number of units, franchise stability, available financing and 2007 growth rate.
“Franchising publications are really taking notice of the great system that we offer our franchise owners and their clients,” said Steve Rafsky, CEO for Padgett. “In addition to this ranking in Franchise Market Magazine, we are also honored to be consistently ranked in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500®, Franchise Business Review’s Top 50.”
Trade publications in the industry are taking notice as well, Padgett is also consistently ranked in Accounting Today’s Top 100 Firms, and the company’s president, Roger Harris, is frequently quoted in Accounting Today, and the EA (Enrolled Agents) Journal. Harris has also appeared as an expert panelist on the IRS sponsored web-cast, Tax Talk Today.
Padgett Business Services® is ranked 117 in the 2008 Franchise Market Magazine listing of the top 200 franchisors. “We consider this a great honor, especially when you take into consideration the fact that there are several thousand existing franchisors” said Steve Rafsky, CEO.
