Kia will begin offering Skyhawks sports programs in the towns of Los Altos, Milpitas, Mountain View and Sunnyvale.
San Francisco Bay Area resident and sports fan, Kia Mirkia is the newest Skyhawks franchise owner. In addition to a technical background, Kia also has extensive experience in sales and management after owning multiple cafes on college and business premises. While a student at San Jose State, he played soccer for the Spartans. Kia is a certified youth soccer coach and a martial arts second degree black belt. When he isn’t rooting for the 49ers, Giants or Earthquakes, Kia can be found spending time in the great outdoors camping or traveling (ideally to Maui) with his wife, son and golden mix.
“As a successful business owner in his own right, Kia will be able to seamlessly step into the role of Skyhawks franchise owner,” says Jason Frazier, president of the Skyhawks Franchise Group. “In addition to having the business acumen, Kia also brings with him a passion for sports and kids. We plan on working with Kia to expand our business in the South Bay through summer camps and year-round programs, leagues and clinics.”
