The success of Coverall franchise owners is our primary benchmark and for this reason, we are excited and proud to have been named one of the 50 Top Franchises for Minorities by the National Minority Franchising Initiative (NMFI) for the seventh year in a row.
”Coverall is dedicated to helping its franchise owners reach their business goals,” said Jim Congrove, Coverall’s Chief Operating Officer. “Being selected as a top franchise for minorities for seven years running helps validate that we are doing things right for our franchisees.”
The Top 50 list appeared in the Oct. 25th, 2013 issue of USA TODAY in the Franchising Today section. It acknowledges franchisors who demonstrate a commitment to the recruitment, inclusion and on-going support of minorities.
The NMFI considers hundreds of franchisors to choose the top companies. Rankings are based on a variety of considerations including the number of operating units owned by minorities. Coverall charted an 86% minority participation rate.
“The steady increase in minority representation in franchising, especially among Hispanics and Asian-Americans, over the last several years is very encouraging,” stated Rob Bond, founder of NMFI and president of the World Franchising Network. “It certainly is evidence of minorities’ intrinsic values and work ethic. In addition, franchisors continue to make a concerted effort to reach out to minorities, which is ultimately highly beneficial in the long run to all parties involved.”
The National Minority Franchising Initiative was a program launched by World Franchising Network (WFN) in 2000 to level the playing field and meet the needs of a largely under-represented market.
