Communications awards recognize company’s banner and radio ad campaigns

Snelling Staffing Services, a Dallas-based leader in providing temporary and professional staffing solutions, received two VOICE awards on Oct.9 in San Antonio at the 2007 Staffing Industry Communication Awards competition sponsored by the American Staffing Association (ASA).
DALLAS, TX (October 8, 2007) – Snelling Staffing Services, a Dallas-based leader in providing temporary and professional staffing solutions, received two VOICE awards on Oct.9 in San Antonio at the 2007 Staffing Industry Communication Awards competition sponsored by the American Staffing Association (ASA).
Snelling was honored for its Web site advertising campaign and its radio advertising campaign, which are utilized by the company’s 182 offices nationwide. Snelling Web banner ads focus on candidates, who can “Get some immediate relief” for their job searching headaches by visiting the company Web site, Snelling.com. Its client-directed Web ads feature fish swimming across the image and encourage clients to use Snelling to “Catch the best temporary and career professionals.” Snelling’s radio ads focus on the company’s ability to match the right candidates with the right company. The clever spots feature candidates, one who brings his references with him to the interview; another who performs a juggling act to demonstrate she is “able to keep many balls in the air at one time;” and an accounting professional facing a farmer who tells him to start “a countin’” the cows.
“These advertising campaigns highlight in a creative way Snelling’s ability to match companies, candidates and positions whether temporary or career,” said CEO and President Tim Fielding. “We pride ourselves on knowing the ins and outs of each of our clients’ businesses and their goals and also being able to attract and retain the best candidates in the market.”
Each year, ASA members submit their best communications tools such as advertising campaigns, marketing collateral and publications to the competition. The 2007 ASA Staffing VOICE Awards recognize the vision, originality, innovation, creativity and effectiveness of members' communications campaigns. Entries are judged in two classes, independent staffing firms and national staffing companies, and in 15 categories, from direct mail to media relations programs.

The prestigious communication awards were displayed at ASA’s Staffing World 2007 convention in San Antonio Oct. 9-12.
