MaidPro Partners With Utah Cancer Foundation To Benefit Cancer Patients

The MaidPro of Sandy, UT has partnered with the Utah Cancer Foundation to provide free home cleanings to cancer patients.
The program, Housekeeping Helpers, provides integral assistance to people who are recovering from chemotherapy and cannot do simple household chores or care for the exterior of their house. The program has been well received by patients who say that it is a service they truly value. Byron Bailey, MaidPro owner, has been with this program since its inception in 2006, which makes this his third consecutive year as a participant.
Anne Jensen, the program’s director, says, “Byron was the first person I contacted when we were developing the Housekeeping Helpers program and without his enthusiasm and support, I doubt the program would have become as successful and large as it is now.” According to Jensen, the first year the program helped clean 20 patients’ homes and has now evolved into upwards of 60 patients within the last year.
