The latest TapSnap franchise will be owned and operated by master franchisee Dan Kelland, who is already a well-established master franchisee with Little Kickers and Little Rugby.
Kelland will begin operation of TapSnap Australia’s first franchise as a pilot program in the coming months, introducing event entertainment and photo marketing experiences to the capital cities on the east coast first, before recruiting franchisees to expand westward later in the year.
“We are excited about bringing TapSnap’s unique brand of photo entertainment to Australia,” said Scott McInnes, TapSnap’s CEO and Founder. “We are always looking for opportunities to grow our brand internationally, so when Dan came to us and we started talking, we knew we had found the right person
“Dan has all of the qualities that make a great TapSnap franchisee, he’s fun, personable, driven, and a team player.” McInnes continued, “he also knows what it’s like to successfully run a master franchise, we cannot wait to see how Australians embrace him and TapSnap.”
A Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) and a member of the Franchise Council of Australia, Kelland has over six years of master franchising experience with Little Kickers and Little Rugby in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Kelland’s knowledge should prove invaluable to his newest role as TapSnap’s master franchisee for Australia. “I’m super excited about taking TapSnap into Australia, there’s nothing quite like introducing an exciting new brand into a completely new market. Australians by nature are very social and I imagine there will be no shortage of events for us to attend, we just can’t wait to get started and show them TapSnap, it’ll be fantastic,” said Kelland.
Kelland continued, “the TapSnap model, because it has the corporate side and social side, I think it’ll do well, not just in large cities, but in small communities, as well. It’s such a flexible business model that any franchisee who’s willing to engage their local community, I’m sure will do very well with TapSnap. I’m looking forward to working with new franchisees very soon.”
