Five Home Helpers' home care agencies were recently honored as recipients of the 2013 “Best of Home Care Provider of Choice" award by Home Care Pulse, the top home care quality assurance firm in the nation. The following offices ranked among the highest in the nation in categories such as training, communication, overall quality of care, caregiver performance and recommendation of services:
- Home Helpers of Cincinnati, OH, owned by Kristin Worthington, Linda Prather & George Ramage
- Home Helpers of Coeur D'Alene, ID, owned by Connie Clark
- Home Helpers of Drexel Hill, PA, owned by Michelle Brown
- Home Helpers of Grand Ledge, MI, owned by Dorothy & Preston Childs
- Home Helpers of Lansdale, PA, owned by Greg Scheck, Frank Esterle & Tom Krupp
“This accomplishment is a true testament to Home Helpers’ long-term dedication to providing quality home care services,” said Emma Dickison, president of Home Helpers and Direct Link. “Our goal has always been simple – to provide exceptional care and make life easier for those in need of a caring, helping hand. We strive to deliver the same quality of care we would expect for our own families, and I can honestly say I would trust the care of my loved ones to all of those honored.”
To qualify for this award, ten percent of each office’s clients were interviewed each month by Home Care Pulse and asked to rate the care and attention they received. These client satisfaction scores were factored into each location’s overall ranking over a 12-month period. Using satisfaction feedback from clients and employees, as well as quality benchmarks from Home Care Pulse, the Home Helpers' management teams worked to achieve the highest level of excellence possible, thus winning the “Best of Home Care Provider of Choice" award.
“Our goal at Home Care Pulse is to help agencies reach their goals and deliver the best home care possible, so it’s very rewarding to recognize several Home Helpers' locations as a ‘Best of Home Care Provider of Choice',” said Aaron Marcum, president of Home Care Pulse. “We’ve been impressed by their commitment to their clients and caregivers, as well as the quality of the overall care they provide. This award shows their communities, clients and caregivers they can rely on Home Helpers for the best care.”
