Sacramento, CA — Roni Deutch Tax Center, the nation’s leading tax preparation franchise, built from the success of its founder Roni Deutch in saving American’s millions of dollars in back tax liabilities, announced today it will participate in a national program designed to help military veterans become franchise owners.

VetFran involves the pooled efforts of Roni Deutch Tax Center and other franchise companies who have agreed to offer financial incentives to bring veterans into their franchise systems. VetFran offers incentives to former military personnel to help them shift from military to self-employment, including reduced initial fees to waived training costs.

“As IFA members, Roni Deutch Tax Center fully endorses the IFA’s effort to express patriotic gratitude,” said Roni Deutch, CEO and founder of RDTC. “We’re committed to thanking veterans once again for their dedication to our country and preserving our way of life, embodied by the franchising model. RDTC is honored to take part in a program that will help veterans become small-business owners.”

As one of more than 180 franchise companies participating in the VetFran program since it was launched during the Gulf War, RDTC is offering veterans a $5,000 discount to become a RDTC franchisee. The U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Veterans Corporation have all endorsed the VetFran program.

"The VetFran program is our way of saying thank you to veterans for their service," said Matthew Shay, president of the IFA. "They deserve our help in pursuing the American dream of business ownership because without them to protect our nation, such opportunities would not exist."
