Description: The franchise operates mobile businesses providing pet grooming services, as well as marketing and servicing franchises for the operation of these businesses. These services include bathing and grooming domestic pets, including dogs and cats. These services are provided from a Sprinter Van leased by the franchisee and customized by the franchisor with a Designated Equipment Package.
Franchise Offer: Two types of franchises:
i.) “Owner Operator” Program - Under this program the franchisee will operate a single franchise business
ii.) “Multi Unit Operator” - Under this program the franchisee will operate 3 franchise businesses.
Financial Assistance: The franchisor offers a financing package for the acquisition of the Sprinter Van(s) and Designated Equipment Package. The franchisor will finance an amount up to $73,008, for a term of 5years with a down payment of $5,387 and monthly repayments of $1,250. The interest rate is subject to the franchisee’s credit rating. The franchisee must acquire the Sprinter Van(s) by signing a lease with an approved supplier of the franchisor.
Training and Assistance:
i.) Owner Operator Program - Under the Owner Operator Program, the franchisee must attend and complete the 80 hour initial training program before beginning operation of the Aussie Pet Mobile® Franchise Business. The training fee is $1,000 which must be paid before attending training and the franchisee is responsible for all travel, living, incidental and other expenses and compensation while attending any training program. The initial training program will take place with a qualified trainer at a site designated by the franchisor.
ii.) Multi-Unit Operator Program - Under the Multi-Unit Operator Program, the Franchise Fee covers a 3.5 day training program for the franchisee, at the Franchise Support Center in San Clemente, California. In addition to this training, each employee must attend and complete an 80-hour initial training program at a site designated by the franchisor. The training fee for each employee is $1,000 per attendee. The franchisee and all employees must attend and complete the training program before beginning operation of each of the Aussie Pet Mobile® Franchise Businesses. The franchisee is responsible for all travel, living, incidental and other expenses and compensation of all authorized personnel attending any training program.
Territory: The franchisee does receive a protected territory. The franchisor will not award an Aussie Pet Mobile® Franchise to be located within the Protected Area or operate an Aussie Pet Mobile® Franchise in the Protected Area, as long as the franchisee is in full compliance with all agreements.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The franchise term is for an initial 10 years, with an option of up to two 10 year renewals subject to compliance with certain requirements
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchisee is not personally required to operate the franchise business. The franchisee is allowed to operate the Aussie Pet Mobile® franchise businesses through employees who meet all of the then-current training and other requirements.
