Description: The Images 4 Kids (I4K) Franchising Corporation is a Texas Corporation which grants franchises to provide "school picture day" photography services at daycares, preschools, private schools and other venues under the name "Images 4 Kids®". Primarily, franchisees photograph infants and children up to five years in age.
Franchise Offer: The franchisee will provide "school picture day" photography services at daycares, preschools, private schools and other venues under the name Images 4 Kids®. After the franchisee has operated the franchised business for at least one year, and with the franchisor’s permission, he or she may provide other types of photography services. The franchisee will have the right to use the franchisor’s proprietary business format and system, which includes standards and procedures for interacting with children, selecting and using photographic scenes (including backgrounds and props), cropping photos, using lighting techniques for the photos and working with us and/or preferred vendors to produce studio quality child portraits.
Financial Assistance: The franchisor does not offer direct or indirect financing. They do not guarantee the franchisee’s note, lease or obligation.
Training and Assistance: The franchisor provides training for the franchisee and one other person of his or her choosing. There is no charge for two people to attend the same Initial Training Program session. If the franchisee decides to bring more than one additional person to the Initial Training Program, the fee will be $1,500 per additional attendee. The franchisee must pay all travel and living expenses for him or her and the employees who attend our initial training.
Territory: The franchisee will provide "school picture day" photography services within a defined area that will be identified in the franchise agreement. The franchisor will neither operate nor grant others the right to operate another business specializing in the onsite provision of child portrait services in the franchisee’s Territory. The franchisor will not solicit, or grant others the right to solicit, business in the franchisee’s territory.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the term is 10 years. This can be renewed any number of times for a 10 year period, if the franchisee meets the requirements set by the franchisor. The fee for renewal is $5,000.
Obligations and Restrictions: The franchised business must be supervised, at all times, by the franchisee, if the franchisee is operated as a sole proprietorship, or by a person with a controlling ownership interest in the franchisee, if the franchisee is a corporation or other business entity. This person must attend and successfully complete the initial training program. The franchisee must offer and sell all services and products prescribed and may offer and sell authorized services and products.
