Donna Ettenson, Vice President of Operations for the Association of Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC), joined Franchise Direct at the IFA Convention in San Diego for an interview.
The ASBDC is something every franchisee should know about it. In Donna’s words, it is “a partnership program with US Small Businesses Administration that provides free and confidential counselling and low-cost training for small business people.”
For entrepreneurs, Donna says ASBBDC will help “people buy a business, we can help people sell a business and everything in between.”
Donna says that franchisees are the perfect client for the ASBDC, saying they can be “a great resource”. She singles out home-based franchisees as people who can particularly benefit for the ASBDC, as there as over 22 million are ‘micro-entrepreneurs’ in America,
