An Office Pride franchise is a janitorial service business that sells and performs janitorial services, related services and ancillary goods in office buildings, retail buildings, medical buildings, commercial buildings, churches and other commercial facilities that require routine contract cleaning to create or maintain a clean work environment. The franchise offered is for the operation of a single unit. If prospective franchisees currently operate a commercial cleaning business, they may convert their existing business to an Office Pride franchise.

Territory Granted: The operation of the Office Pride business will be limited to a certain market area. Typically, a franchisee’s territory is defined by counties and/or a metro area and will include approximately 30,000 to 45,000 businesses. Franchisees will not receive an exclusive territory. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, from outlets that the franchisor owns, or from other channels of distribution or competitive brands the franchisor controls.
Obligations and Restrictions: Franchisees must operate their Office Pride business through a legal entity. The managing partner or shareholder must, at all times, faithfully, honestly and diligently perform and exert their best efforts in performing the obligations under the Franchise Agreement. Each of the owners and their respective spouses must jointly and severally be bound by the terms of the Franchise Agreement and personally guarantee performance. Franchisees must operate their Office Pride franchise in accordance with the franchisor’s Methods of Operations. Franchisees may only sell the goods and services that are listed as approved services in the Methods of Operations. Franchisees must sell all the goods and services the franchisor has authorized.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the initial franchise term is 10 years. A renewal franchise may be granted for a period of 10 years, if requirements are met.
Financial Assistance: The franchisor does not offer any direct or indirect financing. The franchisor does not guarantee a franchisee’s note, lease or other obligation. A $10,000 reduction in the initial franchise fee is available to either any person who has been (or is the spouse of someone who has been) honorably discharged from any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces or any person who has served as (or is the spouse of) a first responder with at least two years of continuous service.
