Territory Granted: The franchisor will grant franchisees a protected geographic territory, which it will describe in the Franchise Agreement. The territory will be defined by towns, cities, counties, zip codes, or other geographic boundaries. The geographic area will include addresses, excluding high-rises, of approximately 240,000 to 360,000 households. If franchisees are not in breach of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisor will not locate or open a competitive business under the marks and using the system in the territory, either company-owned or franchised, during the term of the agreement.
Obligations and Restrictions: Franchisees must either devote their full time and effort to managing and operating the licensed business or delegate their management or operation to a responsible person that the franchisor has approved. Franchisees must reserve and exercise ultimate authority and responsibility over the operation and management of the licensed business. If franchisees delegate management and operation to a manager, the manager must first successfully complete the initial training program within 60 days after assuming the role of manager. Franchisees may offer for sale only the products and services the franchisor approves and manufactures. The franchisor may terminate the Franchise Agreement if franchisees fail to meet the required minimum purchases of franchisor manufactured products in any given year for each franchise territory they own.
Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the initial franchise term is five years. If franchisees are in good standing and the franchisor continues the franchise system in the franchisee’s area, the franchisor may permit them to renew for successive five-year terms under the then-current agreement, which may be materially different than the agreement the franchisor is now offering.
Financial Assistance: The franchisor does not offer direct or indirect financing. The franchisor does not guarantee a franchisor’s note, lease or obligation. For qualified individuals who were honorably discharged from any branch of the United States Military, the franchisor offers a $3,000 USD inventory credit on their first Franchise Agreement for their first territory. GoliathTech franchisees are eligible for expedited and streamlined SBA loan processing through the SBA’s Franchise Registry Program.
