About This Video
This Building 1-800 PackOuts From the Ground Up video tells the founding story of the brand from the corporate leadership perspective. Watch as the team describes one of the main challenges Bart brought to them at the outset: building a national packout company from scratch. There was no existing playbook, and no off-the-shelf system that fit the contents-mitigation niche the way the brand wanted to operate. Hear what they brought to the table. Kevin and the team came in with close to 50 years of combined experience in the industry. That depth let them design proprietary operating systems and monitoring tools tuned to how the brand wanted to pack houses out — what works, what doesn't, what insurance carriers like, what they don't, what clients respond to. Each component was built deliberately rather than borrowed. Discover what the build phase produced. Over the three years preceding the recording, the team honed the system to the point where it can be reliably recreated across new operator territories. "We couldn't be any happier — our system is running because our system is now proven." The franchise model is built on top of that operating foundation, with onboarding designed to transfer the proven system to new owners. Watch the close, where the founders frame what's left for franchisees once they are trained. "Once you're trained — and let's see if you have the heart for it — the challenges are pretty limited. It's holding the hands, caring for the people, caring for the customers. That's not a challenge — that's rewarding." The video is a useful pairing with the brand's other watch page videos for prospective franchisees evaluating where the operating model stands today.
