As a teacher, I have seen the concerted effort from students as they plan their high school coursework and navigate through the college admission process. I’ve coached others on the traditional college admission tests required by most universities in the United States. To get their choice of schools to recognize their zeal and open their doors, I’ve suggested taking tours, opting for the interviews, and maintaining rigorous coursework so they would be viewed favorably by college admissions committees.
