Some Interesting News From The IFA

There’s some exciting news coming from the International Franchise Association these days.

First of all, the IFA have given their website Franchise.org a complete revamp. The new site has a bit of a more streamlined look and feel with a rotating lead news story, plus links to all of the essential info for people looking to learn about franchise conventions, opportunities or the industry in general. It makes discovering news about franchising that bit easier.

The first bit of news you’ll inevitably find if you arrive on the IFA website is the announcement that former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney will deliver the keynote address at the 2011 International Franchise Convention in Las Vegas, which will be held from February 13-16 at the famous MGM Grand Hotel. Romney is planning another presidential bid in 2012 and it will be interesting to see what he has to say to the franchising community. Another business expert, Steve Forbes, will also address the convention.

Registration is already underway. The IFA convention is the one time every year when the entire franchising community gathers under one roof and it can be a great opportunity to build opportunities for the future.
