Training Overview: At least two weeks prior to opening their Signarama center, franchisees must attend and complete to the franchisor’s satisfaction the two-week training program (80 hours) held at its corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida. In addition to this, the franchisor will be on-site at the franchise location for an additional 80 hours of training during the setup period. Franchisees are solely responsible for training their own representatives and employees. The franchisor will visit franchisees in their store, or via virtual methods, at least once each year in order to ascertain the progress of the Signarama center and to assist them. The franchisor provides one regional meeting per year. In addition, the franchisor conducts seminars on many topics relating to the ongoing training and improved operation of the Signarama center.

Territory Granted: Franchisees will operate from a location approved by the franchisor. Franchisees will not receive an exclusive territory. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, from outlets that the franchisor owns, or from other channels of distribution or competitive brands that the franchisor controls.

Obligations and Restrictions: During the term of the Franchise Agreement, except as otherwise approved in writing by the franchisor, franchisees (if the franchisee is a corporation or partnership, a principal or general partner of the corporation or partnership) or their fully trained manager, must devote full-time and best efforts to the management and operation of the Signarama center. The Signarama center must at all times be under the direct on premises supervision of a manager who has completed the training program. Franchisees must also maintain a competent, conscientious, neat and trained staff where applicable. The franchisor requires franchisees to offer and sell only goods that it has approved but there is no obligation to provide all of the services and goods authorized by the franchisor.

Term of Agreement and Renewal: The length of the initial franchise term is 35 years. Renewal or extension of the term is for 35 years, if requirements are met.

Financial Assistance: The franchisor offers indirect arrangements for financing of equipment through business financing companies. The franchisor does not offer directly or indirectly any arrangements for financing of any other initial investment expenditure or of the continuing operation of the franchise. The franchisor does not guarantee a franchisee’s note, lease or any other obligation. The franchisor has arranged for equipment leasing through Navitas Credit Corporation, an unrelated third party not affiliated with the franchisor in any manner. The franchisor may identify new leasing or finance companies at any time and refer franchisees to different equipment leasing or financing companies.
