A Fitness Franchise that Performs
Step into a D1 Training facility and you'll immediately recognize that we're not your average big-box membership gym.ABOUT D1 TRAINING
A D1 franchise offers a training experience typically reserved for D1 athletes. This is not your typical Workout of the Day or trendy, training fad.It is a training model based on 5-8-week programs, designed by D1’s National Head Speed and Strength Coach Panel, underpinned by a periodization philosophy that all competitive and elite athletes use to perform at their highest level.
The 5-component program is designed for the individual athlete just like a Division 1 strength trainer would design a program for one of their athletes.

D1 Training Rises 75 Spots in Entrepreneur Magazine's Annual Franchise 500
D1 Training has once again been recognized as a top 500 franchise by Entrepreneur magazine.
The 2026 Franchise 500 ranks D1 at No. 315 on this year's list, in large part due to the company's continued growth. It jumped 75 spots from last year's list, a bigger rise from 2025 when D1 moved up 56 spots. It marks D1's fourth straight year being ranked.
“For 47 years, the Franchise 500 has been the gold standard for identifying franchise excellence. This year's ranking proves that the best brands don't just survive changing markets; they thrive in them,” says Jason Feifer, Entrepreneur magazine's editor in chief. “These 500 companies represent some of the most reliable pathways to business ownership in America, each one vetted through our rigorous analysis of what actually drives franchisee success.”
Here are some examples from 2025 that help illustrate why D1 was once again honored on the annual Franchise 500 list:
D1 Growth, Expansion & More in 2025

- The D1 corporate team has grown from 21 to 52 full-time employees since 2023

Over its 47 years in existence, the Franchise 500 has become both a dominant competitive measure for franchisors and a primary research tool for prospective franchisees. D1 Training's position on the ranking is a testament to its strength as a franchise opportunity.
This place is amazing. We started my son here 3 years ago in a Baseball Training Class.…He is so much stronger and faster than he was just a few months ago (all tracked by the trainers through testing). …Very educated team that focuses on getting kids stronger using good form and hard work.
It’s a different style of training, it’s high energy, high intensity. I wish when I was 14 years old, that I had a place like this to train. I’m kind of envious of the kids today that have the opportunity to train in a place like this. Receive the kind of coaching, because it could make you quicker, faster, stronger and a better athlete.
