We started our business in the middle of a lockdown, which was new to everyone, but we cash-flowed from the 1st month & I can't think of any other industry or really I don't know of any other new startup that was the case for. But, it was for us and it was because of the support we got from The Glass Guru. I think our year over year growth right now is running somewhere around 65-70% which I am happy with and because of that we're going to achieve the milestones.
As far as money is concerned, we are on the way to meeting our goal for the year that we set out last year, which I thought was sort of a high in the sky dream and I'm blown away by the fact that we are actually going to hit it without a doubt.
I would say if you are a good business person and you're looking for a good opportunity and you're looking for an organization that's going to provide some support, this is a good choice.
We have achieved our goals and a little bit higher. So financially, with The Glass Guru, we're extremely happy. I would say, to a new franchisee or somebody that's looking at a business such as this, that you learn along the way. I knew nothing about glass. I knew nothing about fixing things. That part comes. It comes with experience. It comes with listening to your employees. It comes with listening to your franchise.
Did all the books and started realizing this is a good money-making business. He gets quite a bit of support and so he came in one day and said he'd give me a two week notice when he found a new buyer. And I said, Really, how much do you want for it? And here we are. I'm the owner of the Glass Guru Indy South.
I’ve grown slowly; I started out by myself. I tell people that I was profitable in the first 30 days. I don’t know too many businesses that can say that. If you are going to do it (The Glass Guru), do it, and do it right. Dedicate the time to it, it’s a business.
The fact that there really was something unique about it (The Glass Guru franchise opportunity). I wanted to do something different. There was nobody else doing the moisture-removal part, and that’s something that stood apart from the rest.
I’m extremely happy with the results I’ve seen so far from the business. I’m excited to finish the year out to see where I end up. The training I’ve received from The Glass Guru has been top-notch… extremely pleased with it.
You guys have been awesome! I opened up our store a month and a half ago, almost two months now. Right out of the gate, I’ve gotten calls, I’ve done service work. Just today, I’ve gotten 3 phone calls, and all of them looking for moisture-removal, leading to other business.
The training and support is amazing! they’ve been there for me any time I’ve needed anything. It’s a great (franchise) opportunity. I believe that this company is poised to grow. I think we’re very small compared to where we’re going to be someday, and I think it’s a great time to get into it.
