The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill makes GiftAMeal its National Philanthropic Partner
GiftAMeal is now offered in 70+ locations nationwide; the Mediterranean fast casual will be matching donations throughout the month of February
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill®, a leading Mediterranean fast casual restaurant franchise, is expanding its ongoing effort to help fight hunger through its partnership with GiftAMeal, a community engagement platform that turns guest photos into local food bank donations. After piloting the program with 10 locations in July 2024, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill now offers GiftAMeal in over 70 locations* across the U.S.
Since partnering in 2024, guests of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill have helped provide more than 20,000 meals to families facing food insecurity in their communities – all by simply taking a photo on the GiftAMeal platform. For every photo taken, GiftAMeal donates to a trusted local food bank, helping deliver 1.2 lbs. of groceries through a network of neighborhood pantries.

This Random Acts of Kindness Day (February 17) and throughout the month, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is inviting guests to participate. At the end of the month, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill will match the monetary value of the total number of meals, established by each food bank, to contribute the same number of meals donated.
Participating is easy:
1. Scan the GiftAMeal QR code posted inside The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill.
2. Take a photo of your food or drink to trigger an automatic donation to a local food bank.
3. Share on social media afterwards to multiply the impact – shares can double, triple, or even quadruple donations.
