Franchise opportunities for veterans
Military veterans have emerged as one of the fastest-growing groups of franchisees. It’s not surprising: with the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, there has been great a need for volunteer soldiers. What’s certain now is that a tour of duty or time on a military base is almost better business training than an MBA. But do military veterans know what opportunities exist for them with franchising?
This video culls a range of veteran-related interviews Franchise Direct conducted at the IFA convention at San Diego. It’s a very informative video that focuses primarily on VetFran, which has been really revived since the IFA took up its reins post-9/11.
Below, you’ll find a video interview featuring Drew Myers, CEO of RecruitMilitary. Drew outlines the various opportunities available for veterans with franchising and what his company does.
Here at Franchise Direct, we’d like to invite veterans considering their next big challenge in life to think about an opportunity in franchising. Veterans interested in the blogosphere should keep an eye on this blog, not to mention the Franchise King’s blog dedicated solely to military veterans.
Especially during these trying economic times, franchising constitutes an excellent investment, laden with incentives, for military veterans.
