  1. IM VERY MUNCH INTERESTED ABOUT COFFE FRANCHISE. PLEASE SEND ME MORE INFO. THANK YOU

    Comment by BAILO BA— March 28, 2008 @ 4:07 pm

  2. Hi BAILO BA,

    Thanks for your comment and as requested here is some information you can use in your search for a coffee franchise or business opportunity.

    Firstly, the coffee franchise industry is booming at the moment making the coffee industry quite a successful and profitable one to invest in. But this also means the industry is quite competitive so your research of the coffee franchise industry must be thorough in order for you to find the best opportunity to suit your interests, location, time, budget etc. I have noted a few guidelines below that might help you approach your resarch of the industry…

    Researching the coffee franchise industry…

    1. If you are considering investing in a coffee franchise, I would advise you to research the industry meticulously. You should only choose an established coffee franchisor(s) (as in the coffee franchises listed on this website) from a reputable franchise website or directory. Next submit your information to the franchisor(s) and ask for more detailed information, perhaps arrange an interview over the telephone or in person and write out a list of questions you would like to know about the franchise operation.

    2. Make sure to check that the franchisor can provide you with their Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC), a detailed and important document which will outline for you the financial details of the franchise you are investigating.

    3. A central aspect to this research is to contact at least 3-5 (where possible) existing franchisees and ask them their personal and professional opinion of the franchise operation. This will give you a great insight into the business and its support network and if it really is the right coffee franchise opportunity for you.

    4. Next step is to contact a franchise attorney and to ask them to review the UFOC for you. This will ensure you understand every legal aspect of the business operation. Later on if you decide to invest in the franchise you should also get your legal attorney to review the Franchise Agreement to ensure you know exactly what your legal obligations are to the business operation, but also the legal obligations of the franchisor to you as a franchisee. It is vital you understand both documents to ensure your future success and happiness.

    5. If you have decided to invest in a particular coffee franchise it is very important you know where your coffee shop premises will be located (location can be key to the success of your business). Sometimes the franchisor will help you with locating the right premises within your locality. You should research your locality and check out any competing cafes, restaurants and coffee shops and to see what services and products they provide. This will give you a clear understanding of the market potential for your coffee franchise in the area.

    6. Take a look at the following coffee franchises available to you now and see if any of these coffee franchises meet your interests. Maui Wowi offers a unique slant on coffee franchises with a Hawaiian experience offering unique Hawaiian products and services; PJ’s Coffee is steeped in coffee history! With over 25 years franchising experience, this franchise will offer you expert training, support and an established community of franchisees you can contact;

    Palm Beach Specialty Coffee is a perfect franchise opportunity if you would like the option to work from home? You will be specializing in the promotion and distribution of unique coffee machines available for coffee houses, cafes, restaurants… and finally Bear Creek Coffee is a unique drive-thru retail coffee franchise where you will be provided with unique coffee vending opportunities.

    For further info on any of these coffee franchises go to the section on this website “Food Franchises” and click on the link “Coffee franchises”…

    I hope this has answered your question in regards to your interest in the coffee franchise industry and the best approach you can take to find the right coffee franchise opportunity for you. Also have a look at the Franchise Expos and Events Calendar on this website and find out if there is an exhibition scheduled for your locality.

    If there is an expo to be scheduled near you, I would strongly advise you to attend (it’s free) as there will be franchise opportunities specific to your area advertising/exhibiting at the show. You can with no obligation talk freely to all franchisors you are interested in and make some useful contacts.

    Take a look at my past blog (Archives- March 7, 2008) on “Attending a Franchise Exhibition” and use this information to make sure you get the best from your expo attendance…

    If there is anything else I can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact me again,

    All the best,
