To highlight the importance of creative-thinking and budding entrepreneurs, the IFA has launched a competition that started toward the end of last month. Young Entrepreneurs in Franchising is featuring a global competition now ongoing until the first day of December, inviting “the next generation of leaders” to share their inventive ideas concerning the franchise business world.
These ideas may include innovative new franchise concepts as well as creative ways to improve existing brands. Winners will have their flights paid for up to $1,500USD and a complimentary pass provided to attend next year’s Las Vegas held IFA Convention from February 15-18 at the MGM Grand Hotel. Up to 50 winners will receive the prize, and what’s more, participate in the first Next Gen in Franchising Summit. Opportunities to interact with franchise professionals attending the conference and to participate in featured events and marketing efforts during the conference are some key perks.
So what’s with the emphasis on the next generation of franchising? The fact is, all of the world’s biggest names that grew to where they are today through the franchise business model started somewhere, and all of these companies started with brilliant ideas from someone or multiple individuals. Today’s budding generation of young people are the future of an era ahead that could prove momentous and are perfectly well suited to inherit the legacy that previous generations continue to build up.
Franchise businesses nationwide keep on growing above and beyond the national economic growth rate and it’s no surprise that up-and-coming entrepreneurs who’d like to understand more and work with the franchise business model are in need of special attention. Creative ideas are on the rise. Those seeking to create in-demand businesses that solve local and national problems in all kinds of sectors, from food to healthcare, are trailblazing some pretty incredible business pathways.
The Next Gen in Franchising Summit is all about supporting the next generation and the aim of individuals to work interdependently to build successful franchise businesses, invest in existing concepts, and work closely with exciting franchise brands in hundreds of sectors.
