During his studies at the University of Florida, he taught swimming lessons to supplement his income. The demand for at-home swimming lessons far exceeded his expectations, and thus The Swim Squad was born. The Swim Squad has since become one of the fastest growing swimming programs in the US, doubling in size each year by providing at-home swimming lessons. The Swim Squad is currently seeking qualified franchise owners for prime available locations. Enjoy what you do - work from home and be your own boss! The Swim Squad provides a unique franchise opportunity by allowing you to own your own business in two growing industries: At-Home Services and Child Services. At-home swimming lessons not only provide convenience for parents, but also increase children's safety awareness in their own homes.

Swimming instruction has been around for a long time. Every parent's main concern is their children's safety, so teaching them to swim is a must in the warm-weathered states. Up to now parents have taken their children to a nearby community pool or recreation center for swimming lessons. You are probably familiar with the scene. You drive 30 minutes in traffic to arrive 5 minutes late for your child's 30-minute swimming lesson with four other children, all of the same age. While one child is crying, another is seeking attention, and the other two are splashing each other. The remaining 25 minutes of the lesson go by, with each child receiving approximately 6 minutes of 'instruction.' At the end of the lesson, you just have time to grab your bag to change your child into dry clothes and get back in the car for another 30-minute drive. This is the typical scenario for most swimming lessons across America. We have found that children who go through these programs can take two to three times longer to learn to swim, as opposed to having their lessons in a more familiar and comfortable environment - their backyard pool!"

Although The Swim Squad does provide a convenient alternative for parents, convenience is not our main concern - swimming safety is. The Swim Squad fills a niche in a market that has just begun to be exposed. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, 98% of all preschooler drownings occur in the child's home pool, or a pool of friends, neighbors or relatives. By providing at-home swimming lessons, The Swim Squad strives to teach children to be safe in and around the pools they are most exposed to.

Proven concept

Our program is truly unique. We have an extensive online back-office/database to help you manage your current customers, promotions, employees and administration. Instructors are also set up with an online account, and may view/edit their upcoming schedule or customer contact information as needed. Parents can go online and choose whatever dates and times work best for them for their lessons - there is no mandatory schedule they must abide by. Once a registration has been made, our instructors and managers are notified immediately with contact information and an updated schedule, allowing you, the franchise owner, to have more time to market, advertise and provide excellent customer service!

The Swim Squad provides new franchisees with the necessary training and information to ensure success, including a two-week training program that covers all of our policies and procedures, as well as business operations. Upon successful completion, a Swim Squad representative will provide on-site training for an additional ten business days to help the transition into your new enterprise! We are not happy unless you are - and we strive for each and every one of our franchise systems to be effective and successful.
