Primrose Schools

In this video, Greg and Heather Legeza, owners of the Primrose School of Fletcher Heights in Peoria, Arizona describe how they became Primrose franchisees and how the school has changed their lives and the lives of other people in their community.

The story begins after Greg and Heather’s son was born. Heather, a teacher, was finding the process of locating the right school for their son incredibly taxing. That is, until they walked into a Primrose school in Cincinnati. Heather saw a child crying because he had to leave the school. She was used to seeing kids crying because they had to go to school.

“We knew right then that this was what we needed for our community,” Greg says.

Greg and Heather then decided to open a Primrose franchise in Peoria and ever since, the community has reaped the benefits.

“We have a lot of parents ask us what makes us different compared to other facilities,” Greg said. “I think it’s the passion, but most of all, I think it’s the owners being on site”

“We got into it to own our business. But coming from an educational background, having our kids go to work with us every day is a great feeling as well,” Heather said.

Since opening their school, Greg and Heather have seen their community embrace the presence of Primrose.

“I walk into swim lessons, and people say ‘Oh you’re the lady that owns Primrose'. You don’t feel like you’re making that big an impact, but you definitely are,” Heather added.

“Without a doubt, it’s the best decision we’ve ever made,” Greg concluded.
