Ed Lebel, a successful Back Rubber distributor, recently spoke with Franchise Direct’s Jessie Ward about his successful business.

Ed describes as The Back Rubber as a vending-type business where making money is extremely easy. With The Back Rubber, a distributor purchases and locates top-of-the-line massage chairs in areas of high pedestrian traffic.

“You find a location, you place the chair, you service the chair and you get the money,” Ed says.

The reason Ed is so pleased with his business is that The Back Rubber is a franchise type business that doesn’t have the franchise fees.

“I had looked at a lot of franchise-type businesses, but the start-ups costs were so prohibitive, there was no way I could do it. Then I saw the Back Rubber and it made a lot of sense.”

As Ed says, “you’re in business for yourself, but you’re not in business by yourself”.

Another benefit of The Back Rubber is that it offers ‘a relaxing service’ that can be placed in hair salons, movie theatres and bowling alleys.

Because of his part-time Back Rubber business, Ed says he has “a lot more time to do what I want to do”.

Ed has been helped along the entire way by the Back Rubber, who offer “awesome” support and provide assistance in finding places to locate the chairs. Ed has been running his business on a part-time basis and has reaped the reward of a fantastic business concept. He has four times as many chairs now as when he started his business.

The Back Rubber has met Ed’s expectations, and then some.
