“We have been in the home inspection business for the last 28 years, and have done mold testing for the last several years. In the year before becoming an EnviroSpect franchisee, we did approximately $1,000 per month in environmental tests to supplement the inspection business income. We have been an EnviroSpect franchise for a little over a year and are now doing $1,000 to $4,000 per week in environmental testing outside of the home inspection business. We are in the process of hiring another home inspector to perform that part of the business. We have discovered more markets, developed more marketing tools and found better sales approaches selling environmental services than we ever imagined we could have found.
