Thomas Bunchman, president and founder of JumpBunch met with Lillie Burroughs at the IFA annual convention in San Diego to talk about his intriguing children’s franchise.
“JumpBunch is a mobile sports and fitness program for young children,” Thomas says. It starts at age 15 months, has three age divisions, going as far as a school-age as “an outsource for after-school or PE programs”.
JumpBunch has a proven track record of experience, as Tom, who has worked in the past as a franchisee, explains.
“We got started in the mid-90s, things took off very, very well in the Maryland area, and from that, I decided to franchise.”
In Tom’s view, the perfect JumpBunch franchisee is someone who “obviously likes kids, that’s first and foremost, preferably someone with a business background, however we do offer a training program that’ll deal with all these aspects. But obviously, self-motivators, people that are looking for a change in their life.”
You don’t need any prior experience running a children’s franchise to do succeed as a JumpBunch franchisee, Tom says:
“We have them from all backgrounds. Most JumpBunch franchisees do not have a background from a sports or children’s franchise.”
JumpBunch’s comprehensive training program will help you get your business going. One of the best reasons to start a Jumpbunch franchise is its outstanding performance during this recession.
Tom say JumpBunch is “coping very well because we’re a kids business, we’re affordable, our number have been tracking pretty well actually.”
